Replace gaskets on NP-231 and AX-15 drain plugs?

I'm about to change the fluids in my NP-231 transfer case and AX-15 transmission. Do I need to replace any seals/ptfe tape or gaskets on the fill and drain plugs for both? I don't wan't to drain all of the fluids out and then realize I need to order a gasket for a drain plug.

Copper oring if present on the drain plug for sure.

Get new ones while getting fluid at the parts store.
Inspect old ones when replacing fluid.
Return new ones next trip if not needed.

Wait, what? the 231 just has bungs. I don't have a AX15 so it might be different, but my NV3550 also just has bungs.
