Replacement door straps that can be installed without taking off metal door bracket

I use small dog collars, you can adjust them so the door opens as far as you want. I've had these on my TJ for several years. You can see the original strap, I've threaded the dog collars through them, just so I know where they are if I ever need them again.

No, I don't have any dogs, but the neighbor can't work out why both his dogs lost their collars on the same day!

You can use paracord loop. Pass it through the door opening and then over the body post.

I totally understand not wanting to get out of your comfort zone....man we're going to have to work you up to doing a turn signal bulb this year.
