Need to replace the front half of the exhaust system for my 2005 Sport 4.0L 6 speed manual. Bought a Banks cat back muffler as I had great previous experience with them on other vehicles. Once I started the job I saw that the pipes after the exhaust manifold were actually bent and pushed up against the oil pan. Not sure how the previous owner did that.... I live in Chicago and need the cats as I have to get emissions tests.
Any good recommendations on replacement manifold to muffler cat pipes to purchase for bolt on replacement? MagnafFow seem very expensive and Pacesetter are more reasonable. Not sure I want to replace the exhaust manifold, just the pipes that include the strange cat system.
