Replacement Mirrors

Considering replacing my mirrors and I understand that on the Bestop OEM style mirrors only the mirror itself moves for adjustment and not the outer housing. Not being familiar with the later TJ mirrors can anyone confirm this as the description does not mention this.

Can't confirm, only have my 2000 TJ. Did find some a little cheaper. Hard to say if they're the same quality. Mostly good reviews, but you never know.

Those are like the mirrors I am running now and want to get rid of. I eventually spoke with someone at Quadratec and confirmed that the mirrors do adjust independent of the outer housing. I'm just really tired if dicking around with readjusting the mirrors.

I got those same mirrors for Christmas and they work nicely and stay in place perfectly. My others moved soon as I hit 45 mph

They delivered the new mirrors this afternoon so I'll be installing them tomorrow and posting some pics. Out of the box they look good.

My 03 stock mirrors only let the mirror themselves move, not the housing.
