Can anyone recommend a good quality 3 point seatbelt replacement? I purchased a set from "Quadratec" that were supposed to be "like OEM quality" but they are horrible. They lock up way too easily. You have to go very slow when putting on your seatbelt.

Bump on this.

My drivers side is starting to fray and needs replacement. I read those reviews on Quadratec and think I'll pass on them as well. I'm shopping around online but want to hear from the group if there's a good place to get high quality units.

Why not just get another set of OEM seat belts off daveys jeep, Car-part, or ebay?

I've been looking too, did you get the Beams or the Seatbelt Solutions?

Interested in this too. My front passenger seatbelt has an issue where it randomly unlatches. I can't duplicate it when I want to but it'll just unlatch itself going down the road.

This is a good thread to watch.... My passenger seatbelt has been replaced with something after market. You have to pull it just right to get it all the way out. My drivers side also randomly will not lock in.

Another watcher here. My driver side belt is hardened like it’s sun damaged and it is not retracting much anymore. I want to replace the entire thing on both driver and passenger, but not with used stuff.

SO by being confined to their colors you'd need to replace all 4 of them to match. That's around $400. I think I'll stick with the junkyard. And just replace my drivers side that is frayed.

Did you check out the link? Its kind of easy to miss in my first thread that you quoted. The link from the JL forum was just clickable for folks who wanted to see what others were saying about SeatbeltRestore's service. They build OEM seatbelts. They rebuild OEM seatbelts. They repair seatbelt retractors, pretensioners, and buckles. Their work is warranted for life.

Seatbelt restore can build you seatbelts in any color, including the OEM black.

For $100 Seatbelt restore offers a duel stage seat belt repair. Which includes: "A mail-in service to repair your dual-stage seat belt repair after accident back to factory condition. We use OEM parts and all repairs are done in 24 hours. Compatible with all makes & models, seat belt with 2 wire plugs. Lifetime Warranty."

I ordered a set from Morris and they were made by Seatbelt Solutions. I have a question on mounting them. The locator tab in the back (looks like an arrow) that slots into the roll bar is not there on the new ones. Just a single bolt that holds them in place on the lower roll bar, both front and back.
I believe in value engineering as I do it all the time, I just don't understand why anyone would redesign a seat belt retractor base.
I haven't tried installing them yet to see if they are difficult to align straight.

Ha, this started recently with mine too. I can usually get it latched eventually but I'm never 100% sure.

Im confused. Im the type that needs pop up books. 😂 Any pictures of what you are talking about? And I would suggest reaching out to the company you sent them to. Ive never heard of seatbelt solutions.

Did the company you use supply new retractors? Why didnt they repair/rebuild your factory seatbelt setup?
