Replacing Grille

Hey guys,
Understand this is probably a long shot but would anyone have any idea how to take off and put on a new grille for a TJ? I have bought a new one but don't know how to do it. Would like to give it a go though.

Welcome Joe to the forum. Liked I added won't work, just Google it and will find forums regarding grille removal

You need to:

Remove the fan cowling from the rad
Remove the Rad (Disconnect both hoses)
Depending on engine, the overflow rad tank is also connected
Front axle air breather line is connected near the DS rad to grill mount
Remove the bolts that hold the grill to the fenders
Remove the tie in rods that go to the firewall
If i recall, there are some ground wires screwed to the grill
Disconnect the headlight wiring
Keep in mind that the wire loom for the passenger side headlight runs within the grill so you will need to pull all this out as well if you want to completely remove the grill to work on it.

Once completely disconnected, unbolt the grill from below (Acts as somewhat of a body mount).

That should do it.

This. Depending on how old yours is, soak the bolts ahead of time, especially the fender-grille bolts. They can be a pain and snap off. I know from experience!

Other than that its pretty easy peasy.
