RINC's 1st Jeep

After a few trips, I bought ARR CB mounts.

Somewhere in time I picked up a Dana 44 rear axle.

Through the forum, got a heads up on a good deal for the MORryde tailgate upgrade. Been waiting to get one as the stock hinges were tight. Like had to use both hands to open and close it tight.

After a self induced mishap with a rim, I took off the stock carrier and threw the spare in the back.

Now I believe I have caught up to the heavy hitter stuff.

LetzRoll did my regear, shafts and lockers. Also they had me bring down the suspension stuff to install. Made sense as the axles were out and the Dana 35 being replaced with the Dana 44.

Bam !

So, at the beginning of the @Bob in Texas adventure, I met up with another member of a group meeting at the same location. He had the same rims I have. He had 35" tyres. Said he was using 1.50" spacers. Bam ! Saved meself $2500 on beadlocks. I'll pick up 5 Mickey Thompsom 35-12.50R15 after work tomorrow on Canyon rims.

I aint tummy tucked yet. I am not yet into Super @DaveC territory yet.

Also at the same time, bought the beefy BMB tie rod. I have yet to install it yet though.

I keep eyeing one of these, but would have to then upgrade to the Currie steering. So far, I've bent a couple ZJ rods, but they're cheap and easy to source. I broke a Currie tie rod once on my LJ and, like a dummy, didn't have a spare. That was very frustrating to be down because I didn't carry a spare. :(

Not sure which I'll keep as a spare yet. I may just be lazy and hang on to the BMB one as its not installed yet.
