You need some rock sliders. That will cover those up easily!

The PO had a vinyl decal covering the holes that came loose so it was glued back on. It took me a couple of days with a heat gun and goo-gone to get all the glue off.
I don't wheel my jeep too hard, so I really don't need sliders.

Got it! If that's the case, then yes, the solution you posted seems like a good one.

Or you could search out OE Rubicon rocker guards.

I think any Jeep that is driven on the street should have at least a 2" lift and a burly set of rock sliders; does wonders for side impacts.

Any thoughts on frame mounted sliders? I would like to replace my factory step with a simple bolt on option. I'm not worried about impact from rocks (not an issue with what I do here in Florida), but rather something that runs continuous from entire length of the tub in between the fenders that still provides a step for my wife.
