Roll bar / cage to frame options?

I’m resolving some rust issues on my Jeep and am currently having he b pillar roll bar rust issue.

-Has anyone hard mounted that to the frame?

- kits to do that?

- pros/cons on doing this?

Yes, it's often required by various racing bodies like NHRA. Do you plan on using the Jeep for competition events?

A big con would be that the bar, frame and body would then be rigidly mounted together into one unit. This would potentially eliminate frame give/flex, and transfer more NVH (noise/vibration/harshness) to the cab. Lifting the body for whatever reason would then be much harder should it need to be done. Since Jeep didn't build these as unibody vehicles, I'm guessing there are other reasons to not do it.

My question is why are you asking about this?
