Last year when we went in oct the weather was mild, camping at night got a little cold but daytime weather was pleasant. I will watch the weather more once we get into oct.

Getting closer... everyone still in?

Looks like we're getting into worse weather. We've got a winter weather advisory here in my area with snow over 4000'.

We are watching the weather reports as is. Last year when we went at this time it wasnt bad just cold at night.

I usually bring my zero degree bag this time of year, and my woobie and my Makita heated blanket.

Debating on taking the top back off for the run... =)

I won't be able to finish my truck by then. Just started to put the rear axle in. Still have lots to do.

Depending on weather and who comes out, we were thinking of some trails out by Arnold Ca

Trying to figure out if we're doing this trip.

At this point I'm past being able to take time off work...so if we're doing this I need to cannonball down Thursday night.

What's the plan?

-Mac

Mac I am working on details now but we need to make a decision on the trip because right now its showing bad weather coming in for next week. I should have a better answer in a day I hope

This is the current weather conditions, with that I think I need to make the call to cancel as I would not deal with the wet weather. Gotta plan a different trip

The snow will melt pretty quick. It snowed a bit up here yesterday and it was all gone by 10am. Thursday is currently calling for 1", just in time for Halloween....., but other than that it's rain.

I would be more concerned with the low temps at night.

Not worried about any of it.

But then not many people have spent the night in a snow cave in Afghanistan.

I'd love the challenge.

My jeep is ready but unfortunately I’m not able to do that weekend. I hope you guys have fun and post pics/video, if you go.
