They are the same as a Dana 30, 27 spline but the size and spline count has about zero to do with it. Due the fact that the stub shaft is essentially a big bolt, when you torque the nut down to the high torque spec required to hold the unit bearing halves together, the splined section of the shaft winds up in tension. That puts the flange at the beginning of the splines in contact with the rear face of the unit bearing and the forces that it takes to turn the tire assembly wind up being handled by the high level of friction generated between the two surfaces so essentially the splines see very small forces.
Were that not the case, you would see trails littered with piles of broken stub shafts and not only does that not happen, it is rare to even ever see or hear of a broken stub beyond the yokes at the splined area. There were a few breaks in some crap aftermarket stuff which overlooked basic engineering principles like heat treat and material selection, but that's about it.
