Working this weekend to cover a guy who took a few days off.

It's a good day in Oregon.
Doe and a pair of fawns on company property.

Some days it's just good to live and work in rural Oregon.

The deer pictures suck, because I tried to take them with a cell phone off the back of a forklift.

This is the third year in a row she's been back, always with twins.

Looks beautiful! Is someone feeding her?

Nope, she, and the "kids" just browse the heck out of the shrubbery. The two fawns were born in the grass just up the slope a little ways from where she is at. She hides them in the landscaping next to the building. They are actually kind of a nuisance, they'll dart out in front of the forklifts at night when you're moving parts around. Especially on the rapid roll door on the end of Bldg 7. Silly buggers are just barely afraid of people, and don't have the sense to get out of the way. And don't get me started on the squirrels!
