I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport. I noticed rust in the windshield and body union location just in front on the passenger side. is there an easy fix and also is this a common site for the same to occur or do i need to look for some problem.

This is a very common issue. You’ve got to remove the glass and treat the rust unless you want it to get worse.
