Hi there. I'm new to Jeeps and looking for at old wranglers near me bc they're cheap, manuals, and I can feasibly learn to do some work on it myself. However, I live in the Northeast where salt and rust can be pretty bad. I drove a 2006 Wrangler today and loved it but it had some significant rust. The owner and I talked for awhile since she is open to offers (its been on the market a while), but I'm worried even if I offer less than her asking price to pay for repairs it won't be worth it. It passed inspection and they said they'll need to do something about the rust in a couple years. I'll attach pictures of the rust to this and I'd love any opinions if its worth it. It looks wicked bad to me but I don't know if it should deter me (since I'll make an offer based on potential repairs and I don't mind a manageable project). Thanks in advance.
