Some of these look like they were taken via drone, were they?

Awesome photos either way!

Very cool, I don't blame you.

I need to take some cool photos of my TJ with my drone as well.

Very nice pictures and beautiful scenery!

Thanks.

I have this forum to thank for the pics. I was never a pic guy, until the pic competition on here. And I also have a place to dump the new pics.

The desert is weirdly pretty or ugly.. nothing in between, imo.

Anza Borrego is interesting because the Salton Sea is in the background.. and the western mountains can have crazy flower blooms carpeting the whole mountain side, not to mention the hidden waterfalls...

I enjoyed your pics of the desert, at least it has character unlike the deserts of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq.

This area was under water at one point...so they say. But you can find prehistoric fossils of ocean life at an area called shell reef.

Other pic is of the pumpkin patch.. where over the years.. nearly circular shaped mud rocks get formed by wind rolling them through mud like a snow ball.

Took some buddies who were new to offroading (vehicles) out again. Had fun.

The jk in the pic was their first time ever offroad.

The tundra and h2, did well.. compared to the first time we went out. They both had to get towed home.

1st pic.. buddy posing his jk.

2nd... diablo dropoff.. right side, harder side. Drop off is feet in front of me.

3rd pic... the route we took. Went all over the desert.. went through a bombing range, old stage coach trail, a creek with willows and flowing water.. sand dunes, mud caves.. ending at a 4x4 park.

4th pic.. deceptive mud bog in desert.

5th pic.. desert bloom. Not my pic.. but its pretty this time of year.

Started saturday morning with a star trek episode. Klingon civil war stuff.

Decided to get out.. woke up wife and gave her 15 mins to get ready.."taking you exploring"

1 hr later.. we are on the road.

Run around otay mtn and back country. Fish and chips at old barret junction cafe.

End the night eating ribs and watching pacquio win.

Good day!

Otay mesa mtn... tijuana, san diego, border wall, pacific ocean in background.
