Got an email from Gerald, and then a "it's shipped." Huge props, always good parts and service for me.
So got the skid up.
I started with getting the brackets up on the engine mounts.
Then I used a strap to hold the front half of the skid and got the rear clamped.
Then I got the brackets on snug.
There was some weird fit, wasn’t straight in the back. The overlap I believe was at 1 1/2” on driver side and 2” on passenger.
I loosened the bolts up front, and moved on bracket in front of the tab on passenger.
It all lined up better and tried to focus on the order I read abover, overlap and covering the sides correctly, or lined up.
Then clearance up front.
Then I drilled and bolted in the rear, then tightened up the front and it all lined up well and is super sturdy.
Did a look over and like it, so it’s set
I may come back and look at drivers side, in pics it looks a touch higher that side and not quite level, but I’ll leave it for now.
Ready to go test it when it’s not 105 degrees here again ha

Left side bracket at the motor mount is on upside down.
I was questioning that in my head, should have posted.
When I flip that, the tab that connects to the arm/brace will be situated toward the rear, correct?
Okay. Funny that when you put it in the right way, there is no fighting it. It’s level, Rick solid, and the LH side (driver side) bolted in with zero fighting it.Yes, and done that way because the two mounts welded to the frame are not directly across from each other.

No grind or shorten or whatever. Pretty sure I’m done with it now.

No, it isn't Rick solid, it has 2 legs.
