Savvy mid-arm with engine skid mount contact

For those of you with the Savvy mid arm and an Engine skid, particularly the Savvy or UCF skid since they are very similar in the way they mount, what did you do about the skid brace on the driver side that is in the way of the upper control arm? I've got a couple ideas running through my head, but would like to see what others have done..

I've got a couple ideas running through my head, but would like to see what others have done..

Welded an arm off the side of the engine mount, so I connects to the skid arm inboard of the control arm

Savvy has a longer bracket that bolts to the frame horn. The upright then gets shortened and re drilled.

Savvy has a longer bracket that bolts to the frame horn. The upright then gets shortened and re drilled.

When I contacted them they shipped the new mount to me free of charge as well.
