Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Yes and no. Go to most any website and you'll see they have TJ and LJ in one category together.

Yes, I realize they're the same.
I meant that the demand for good TJ parts is getting less because (from what I've seen) it's mostly only the lesser number LJs that need them.

I see no reason to go savvy over flux now. The important design points that savvy was so unique for now is made by a small business (literally one dude as far as I know that does this on the side in his friends garage out of love) and is actively involved on this forum. Savvy has failed and is trying to rebuild the brand but I’d say is doing so poorly. I get you need to make money but even in the last live stream posted here they said they lost files and are just trying to make the biggest market for Jeep armor seemed like they’re just in the business for Gucci expensive products bc they knew aluminum already is so they can up charge more. Whether that be true or not on their intentions, that just doesn’t give me the same pride as buying what savvy was or what flux is now. The rebrand has lost my hope in the them and I hope to see that change but I’ll be waiting for flux stuff before I do any savvy.

Savvy was one dude for years.

I don't think that's the case at all. I think there are plenty of TJ products, especially in comparison to LJs. I mean, bumpers, and fenders, and skids such are all the same. As far as other stuff I mean there's even kits to convert a TJ frame to an LJ. I don't think that the difference in those two are even close to being big enough to have that issue.

thus why I said “just doesn’t give me the same pride as buying what savvy was”.

Either being one dude making parts or having a team behind you. There are still a lot of aspects that are challenging. Props to anyone who can get a quality product to market.

I haven't seen it in person yet, but the pics from the local guys that went with the flux bumper are sexy as hell. I wouldn't swap my savvy bumper for it, but that's just because I don't solve a problem doing that swap. I'd have zero complaints running flux 's.

Definitely no small feat and I’m not knocking that aspect, but if flux is able to do this alone after working 40hr weeks at another job, it just tells me that what ever excuse savvy keeps looping everyone into waiting 2 more weeks for is just bad business. It’s possible, it’s now been done, but they still havnt produced anything yet on their end. I don’t know if savvy now is just one dude or not, but being very open and able to communicate the problems shouldn’t be so hard. I mean I ordered soft shackle hooks from ya and you immediately reach out to me telling me how your inventory was miss counted and when the next new updated batch would be made. You then followed up exactly as said. Granted they haven't taken our order for anything but still the business was run poorly before but excusable with knowing the situation of the one man running while now I’m waiting for change still bc I think I have a worst impression of the new brand than it deserves.
I have a flux. I love it. Savvy or flux I wouldn’t sell one I already had for the other but if was starting fresh, both solve the issues I’m looking for in a bumper so I’d put my money where it’s more supporting and right now that’s the smaller guys on this forum like flux and yourself.
More competition is always better though. I’m still shocked flux has made the products he has and savvy is actually showing signs of making more tj products. I genuinely didn’t think I’d have that opportunity.

We are very fortunate someone stepped up to deliver high quality and reasonably priced products for our platform. Of course, that wouldn't happen without this forum of individuals that recognize, and are willing to buy, said quality.
