Savvy off-road sold?

For anyone who feels the need to bitch about my not being willing to run out to buy more stamps locally when my recent USPS order was too slow to arrive feel 100% free to take over. In fact I actually did that once for 11 of the envelopes during that wait for the USPS stamps but I didn't know there was a required shipping speed for subsequent requests so I decided to just wait for the shipment to finally arrive.

I will forward any future decals I receive to you if you feel you can do the job any better. I've had quite enough surprising complaints about my not having enough stamps on hand to ship them out the same day I received requests for them. I was MORE than happy to do this and actually enjoyed helping out but with the recent bitching about my speed of getting more stamps (I wiped out my stamp supply) so I could get them mailed. I'm nearly about to say fuck it.

Seriously.

Jerry,

You are loved and appreciated! ;) 🇺🇸

I don't want a sticker, but I am unsure who pissed in the wheaties. As an outsider there's some good info about where one can procure stamps in Florida that I never knew before with zero delays to complain about.

No one who messaged me for decals ever complained or became upset. They were all appreciative and said thanks, several times in a few instances.

The only ones who bitched about what I was doing and how I was doing it were those who never asked me for decals. They're the only ones who bitched when I reported a delay in receiving stamps from the USPS and one or two even had the balls to say I should have gone to the store to buy more stamps since the USPS was late in delivering those I had already paid for.

Funny how the ones who asked for decals were appreciative and never bitched. Only those who didn't want decals bitched and told me to go to the store to buy stamps. FUBAR to say the least.

@Jerry Bransford from the start I thought what a star you were for distrubuting the stickers. I actually thought it was a bit cheeky of Savvy to get you to do the distribution of their stickers, rather than doing it themselves. Especially as you were having to foot the bill for the postage yourself (not sure what that costs in the UK, but it has become quite pricey in the UK of late). But you were clearly happy to do it, so I thought "good on you Jerry". I did think it would be fun to have a sticker in the UK, but thought no way am I going to ask this guy to post one over seas, that is just taking the piss.

But coming to stamp gate. Maybe there is some history here in past threads, maybe some posts have been deleted as I have only just read the last four pages of this thread. But, if there aren't, when I read the posts I did not think it was criticism of you. I simply read it as being a helpful suggestion that in future, if USPS takes a long time to deliver stamps, there is a local retailer where you can buy stamps when you are out and about. Online posts are notoriously easy to misinterpret, I know I do it a lot, and I wonder if that has maybe happened here.

I hope this post is taken in the way it is intended. I am not having a 'pop'. You've done a nice thing, put your hand in your pocket and invested your time for others benefit. I just think it would be a shame if all the thanks and gratitude coming your way are out weighed by anything else.

You have it correct.

It appears TJ products are finally coming to the new savvy website?....

Interesting. I wonder if they will offer the original designs or will have some new products. At least they are hinting that they will continue to support the TJ's. If they get some bumpers for sale I will be all in on team Z.

That is the critical question. The TJ product line is distinctly different than the JK and JL product lines. Beyond that, Blaine's original TJ product line for Savvy was superior to any changes Gerald has made since.

Dang. I didn't know that there had been changes to the original design. I guess I'll wait for more knowledgeable people to review any of their products before I order.

The biggest and the one the matters the most is the original Under Armor one piece skid. The modular version we have had for the last many years is still very good, but not what it was.
