Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

My guess at this point is the Zavvy will focus on armor. The suspension stuff will go to Rock Krawler for manufacture, how that is marketed from there I dunno. Gerald mentioned the mid arm would be produced by RK and he was testing their joints to replace the Johnny Joint.

I'll believe it when I see it at this point. Looks like they do have 3 different TJ suspension systems already. So curious if they'll add an option for the mid arm, or just say they already have TJ options.

At least they haven't discontinued their TJ stuff. That would be a bad sign.

Also, at least it's Rock Krawler. I had one of their kits on my JKU and was happy with it and the company. I know people on here are not a fan of long arm systems. Though I do know a few that have RK long arm kits on their TJ's and are happy with it.

I am tempted to order the shifter linkage, I know mine stocker is on its last legs...Might be a risky order. Might just wait a while and make sure the new site is in good working order.

There's always the Novak shifter option. It's close enough in price and not at risk ordering.

Oh man...Think about what the younger generation is missing out on...they don't have the stress and worry about coming back from a sporting event in school, hanging with your teamates around the payphones to call mom and dad so they can come pick you up!

I’m old enough to recall when nudie mags and porn tapes were like obtaining unranium-235.

“Mom and dad left, quick grab the VHS…ah shit they came back wtf!!!”

i've shaken your hand before so i'll give you a couple when our paths cross next!

i've since fixed the blemish but have only done a test run on the side panels i'm putting together:

next phase is spacing the TJ, 4.0L and Sport decals for their correct locations and adding the placement indexes so they can be installed simultaneously.

all the jeep decals were scanned and traced from NOS replacement decals i had for a while. i'm gonna pick up an X sticker and a wrangler sticker and will digitize those next. i have a bunch of different brand logos digitized already so i'm just trying to get the sizing right for those.

I'll take an "X" please.

There were 3 available when I posted the link 45 minutes ago. Now they show 1 in stock. You might not be the only one trying to grab one. Sorry I didn't notice you had the 241. Longwhitejeep posted the correct link.

I snagged mine yesterday when I first stumbled upon this thread… I was going to hold off for another few months.

I’m happy with those gum balls you get when you put a quarter in and turn the knob. Doesn’t make them good. 🤣

Congrats to Gerald, he always treated me right. I wish the new owners/management lot of luck! I hope Blaine isn't getting fucked in any of this as I know that most of the Savvy parts for TJ's that most of us care about, were developed by him. Hopefully the new owners don't forget the community that built their brand name.... even if the JK/JL/JT market is hot right now... I can speak from experience of having owned several of the later model Jeeps, that the TJ was the best of all of them.

got my transfer case shifter on amazon.

Still balls that there's no legitimate communication on this matter. The only thing I own of theirs is a winch guard and some shirts but I'm pretty sure we all wanted the mid arm and skids to still be available.
Gerald says there will be even more TJ stuff than before.
Will see how this plays out.
