Headed south on Highway 17 in Fleming Island FL I saw a Rivian truck. Heavy traffic so could never get close. He was tearing it up at every stoplight. I did not know you could get these yet.

They're not delivering a ton, but they're out there now. They are also starting to deliver the SUV variant.

Of the options out there, the rivian looks the best for the midsize options but I'd love an f150 lightening.

I think I started seeing them out here about a year ago. This one was out on a trail a few weeks ago. I helped spot him through a rougher section. It's a neat truck. Fantastically quiet and the driver had a lot of precise control over where he wanted to go.

Last February or March, @Farmergreg and I ran across a group of 4; they pulled in to air up just as we finished and were getting ready to hit the highway after a day on the trail. We thought they must have been a group from the manufacturer, but they were four buddies who'd all bought and taken delivery of them around the same time.

We chatted with them for a bit. Pretty cool tech - adjustable suspension from inside the cab, onboard air that you set to your desired psi and walk away, etc. I think they said they're rated at ~245 mi range in 'off road' mode, which was pretty impressive, I thought. Other than the front, which I think looks goofy, I thought they were pretty sharp looking.

I have a friend who has one now. He plopped down more cash then the Bronco guys to get on the list a couple years back.

I don't pre-buy my cars.

They made it up to Crown King….but not the back way. Still to see 4 of them out on the trail was kind of impressive.

I like the SUV version a lot. Saw one this past weekend in the city. It looked really nice.

I've seen a few on the trail here in Co. Stopped to talk to one guy, they're nice. Saw another dude bury it in a snow drift, needed to be winched out. I'm always stoked to see people in new vehicles going for it.
