Scary steering

I already ordered a new bracket to raise the steering shaft up about an inch inch and a half. Previous owner lifted it, put bigger tires on (Not very big) and also adjusted the gearbox without dropping it. The u-joints are what went bad in them.

If you don't have a body lift, the riser isn't needed.

Do you have a body lift or a spring/spacer lift? Like @The4bangertj said, you only need to raise the steering shaft if you have a body lift.

Yessir Its only an inch and a half, but i did just get the riser bracket in today. Rather pay $20 than be sorry.

Into my hands, the steering shafts wont be in for two days so i was going to take out the old and throw the riser in tomorrow. Body lift no spacers sorry
