Had a great day on the trails in Sedona with @Farmergreg @PurpleTJAZ @JnJ_Adventures @RINC and @Blackiosh yesterday running Outlaw, Diamondback Gulch (aka Greasy Spoon), Oak Creek Homestead and Broken Arrow. 4 fun trails, 1 flat tire, 1 bent tie rod, some cool Indian ruins and a good group of folks to hit the trails with made for a great day.

Jeez, I really miss wheeling around Sedona. Looks like a blast!

How is devil's staircase on broken arrow looking now?

Where did you get those flat towing brackets on your bumper? At least I assume that's what those are for.
You guessed right! I didn't want to use brackets that the tow bar companies make that mount/hang down below the bumper and wanted to keep the factory bumper, so I had them made at the local off-road shop that was doing some other stuff to my TJ at the time. I think they charged me $100 or $125. They're very well-made and work great.

That's a great solution compared to the options out there.

It really was. Most of the aftermarket bumpers that you'd think you should be ok to tow with don't list as tow rated (assumingly due to potential liability) and keeping the OEM bumper helps keep the rig light, which has been an underlying principle of my build.

If you're in the same boat, I'd imagine any off-road shop that does fab work would be able to do something similar for you - or a metal shop.
