Shock Bar End

The bars on our front Rancho 5000x shocks are not quite oriented correctly. They want to be flat, but the bars on both shocks are in at maybe an 20 degree angle. I tried to twist them flat, but it seems like they are bonded in? I figured I would ask before forcing them or breaking a bond.

Anyone know if the bars are bonded in or if it is OK to twist them flat and potentially break that bond? Or are they not bonded and it is no issue to twist them?

Use a pair of pliers to straighten them, the bar pins are not designed to be bonded to the bushing.

I had to install the rubber bushings and bar pins in mine when I got them. Nothing holding them except friction.

I contacted Rancho/Tenneco when I couldn't get the upper rears to straighten; I was told they were bonded.

On the last set of front rancho shocks I installed, I bolted the bar pin into place and just pushed the upper into place. They are not bonded to the bar pin.
