Should I replace my steering damper on a 99 Sahara with 143k miles? What kind of damper should I use? When I bought the Jeep it had an extra damper added on, but I took it off because I felt it put too much strain on the steering components and made it feed a little to stiff. But now I'm starting to think that maybe my 20 year old damper may not be doing as good of a job as it should. What do you guys think. I'm not a heavy off road wheeler, just logging roads and highway mostly. Just wanting best control and feel while using it as a daily driver.
