Mopar is fine. If your TJ is an early model, like 97-99, there was a bad batch of valve springs installed in a lot of them which could cause even multiple 43 codes. My '97 had that problem, it was getting up to three 43 codes at once, as in 12 43 43 43 55, and was a test mule for Jeep while they searched for the cure. Replacement valve springs proved to be the cure.

Thanks Jerry,
I combed through a few of the old threads going over some of that stuff. Yeah, it's a '97 and throwing 12 43 43 55, considering I've gone through all the ignition and fuel system I figured something was up deeper into the motor. Hoping I can swap the springs and be ok, and that there's no burnt valves/seats. 😬
