I sold my Next Level 5th Wheel and I'm starting to look for a trailer for the Jeep ( RZR / Quads).
My 5th Wheel was 102" wide. The interior wall to wall was just over 95".
When I loaded the Jeep I was unable to open the doors due to the upper cabinets. But if they weren't there I think I could have squeezed out.

As the Jeep sits with the spare tire and winch it is 15'6" long x 6'6" wide. It fits under a 7' (84" frame without airing down the tires).
I still need to get her on a scale for an accurate weight.

So, looking at the different size box trailers, I kinda feel like even a 7' Wide trailer will force me to crawl out the rear every time I load and unload.
It also seems like 18' is probably the minimum length, even 20' doesn't leave much additional room.

What do you guys have and why did you pick that size/style?

Better too much trailer than too little. I bought a standard 16L X 8W X 7t enclosed that would haul my '21 Chevy pickup but not much else so other car guys wouldn't want to borrow it. That backfired when I bought my '25 Buick coupe and when loading day arrived I had to not only deflate the tires but have two big guys stand on the back of the car to clear the door !. Bought a 20 foot overtall and can now haul almost anything I own.

Can't help you on the trailer, but if I were loading into a box trailer, I'd make sure to pull the driver door off before I drove into said trailer...

This has been one of my issues I've discussed with people when searching for a trailer/toy hauler. Me trying to get in or out of a rig with limited space would not be a fun thing. A few people I've talked with who had enclosed trailers said that this was what they did with their Jeeps.

What about getting a trailer that has the roadside hatch?

No. It's a option on many but it isn't standard.
Thanks. Seems that the option is pretty much mandatory for a full size vehicle unless it's driven by an acrobat or gymnast. :) I watched a guy squeeze past a built Sammy to get out of his trailer and there wasn't a lot of room.

Yep I'm too OLD for those types of gymnastics plus being short one leg makes it even more fun.

Most of the bigger trailers have a 'side door'. I'm not sure why that door isn't on the 'Driver Side' by default.
My Holiday Ramber (and I assume most RVs) have the access doors on the passenger side.
Looking at @TJPurist trailer. It seems like I will need to load the 20' trailers towards the rear to properly balance the load.

I like this idea more. An open deck for the Jeep and a cargo area for tools and equipment.

My brother has an open trailer for his JKU. I want something enclosed to 'store' the RZR and get it out of the garage.
We plan to buy a smallish motorhome (A or C) to take all over. I guess a lot of the National Parks have length limits.
So eventually we will have a 25-28ish foot motorhome. We will use that to tow the Jeep (or other toys) and the boat (24' Yamaha jet).

When my neighbor loads his '56 Chevy drag car into his 28' enclosed trailer, he just positions his car on the ramp and uses a winch to pull it in. So no getting in or out is necessary. His trailer also has a street side door and curb side ramp door to for his Quad so his Wife can pull his car to the staging area.

I have this and I like it a lot, but a friend has one of those high end Nascar looking enclosed trailers that has wings that open on the sides. Its bad ass and was like $40-50k. His is an Intech check them out. Added a pic of the wing option below. He has on both sides. Its like a stage for a band or something when all opened up.
