Less is more. Get high-quality front head lights (KC halogens or Toyota factory Koitos with good H4 bulbs, or LED Holley Retrobrights), a good pair of fogs (VisionX or KC) to fill in and a good pair of tail lights like BMB. If need be, add a couple flat LED lights in the rear valence area below the tailgate and wired appropriately to abide road laws.

Pay attention and you will have good useful light and you will have have butchered the looks of the TJ in the process.

Did you cut the switch plunger shorter?

Yes. Quite a bit.

Pretty much exactly what I have done. I had flush mounted LEDs in the stock rear bumper but the Barnes Low Profile doesn't really have the room.

Custom LED projectors built from JK headlights. About as custom as possible, I had to pull the assembly apart after cooking in the oven, then install the projectors. Paint, ect. They worked very well and were cool to boot. The white was the DRL, and it flashed amber with the turn signal
