Small bulbs inside headlight housings

Does anyone know why there's small bulbs in my headlight housings? They work when connected to power but I don't have a plug or anything for them I thought maybe day time running lights and was going to wire them as such if there's ignition power under the hood some where. Any ideas? 05 TJ Rubicon

Never seen that before. Maybe daytime running lights?

That's what I was thinking but daytime running lights are Canadian only mine was built in the US as far as the build sheet says

They are definitely factory way to clean to be a diy mod

You say they work but there is no plug? Do they light up when you turn on running lights only?

They have no power or ground going to them.I just ran power ground to them to see if they work, they do but also no DRL function on my switch either

Anything is possible but that looks like a diy job, no matter how clean it may be done.

I'll get a pic of the back of it soon I just thought it was strange. I'll probably run them to ignition power and boom day time running lights

Ended up with DRLs wired to cig lighter power

The little bulb is factory made for jeeps with no sealdbeam headlights. In europe it is normal.
