Anyone know why my soft top would just keep coming unlatched? Just bought this not to long ago and the guy I bought from had no idea what happened.... When I latch it down the header just tilts backwards and comes unlatched. The seal seems to be in good shaped but have no clue whats going on with this. Its a frameless bestop with the integrated header.
My only guess is the top was replaced and the new top was not properly installed/wrapped around the header before it was screwed into place creating a bad angle for the header.
And if they are, you have a warped and/or mis-manufactured header. I had one like that new in the box from Bestop and they warrantied it.
Thank you for the advise. Claytone is right tho.. there is no bars attached which would keep it from folding backwards.
You are correct. There are no bars from the header to the door surrounds which would cause it to fold backwards like it is.. thank you that was driving me crazy lol
