My wife and I run a small resort in the Caribbean, and we recently got an old 2002 right-hand drive Jeep Wrangler TJ to use while we're here. Since traffic flows on the left, the RHD setup is ideal. I'm new to this but excited to turn it into a great daily driver, so I'm looking for reliable sources for parts.

For steering linkage I use Crown/RT Offroad HD linkage and track bar.
For steering stabiliser the standard size like Monroe do should be used as HD stabilsers will get dented by the linkage.
I've had a nissens rad in my 97 for 13 years and over 100k miles. Nissens are an OEM manufacturer so the quality is top notch.
HVAC system is an exact mirror of the early LHD version so if you ever need a blower motor it might not be easy to find.
Pretty much everything apart from steering linkage, steering gear, track bars, rad and HVAC unit is the same as LHD.

How do you like the RT off-road HD steering? That’s part number RT210006 correct?
I’m thinking about it for 4” lift on 35s

Just answered in the other thread, been on possibly up to ten years at 8k a year with 33" tyres.

Part number is just two zeros I think but otherwise correct.

Edit. My lift is 4".

One thing to note, I find with lifted suspension, the TRE on the tie rod can catch the axle slightly. I don't know if similar happens on LHD vehicles.

What I do with any new drag link is to use the press at work to increase the bend in the bar slightly. This moves the TRE away from the bracket it catches to prevent interference.
