I'm getting ready to put together a 2" lift. I already have the shocks so I'm just looking at the springs right now.
My questions is....what is the preference for leveling out the jeep?
Going with longer springs in the front or going with spacers?

I'm looking at the BDS springs and I see their 2" kit comes with 2" springs both front and back. However I've seen people mention going with 3" up front and others mention they added a 3/4" spacer.

Thanks for the help.

If it's under an inch, I would lean towards a spacer.

I have 3 inch front and 2 inch rear bds going on by next Saturday, along with a 1inch body lift. Can post pictures once I get it done. Everyone I've seen get it suggest 3"front and 2" rear. Reason being is bds 2" rear springs are cloder to 2.5". When paired with a 2" front this adds forward rake to the vehicle. Adding a 3" to the front gets rid of that rake and levels the Jeep.

Instead of playing the spring game which changes when you put dead bodies in the back of your Jeep you could install airbags. They are cheaper than most springs and you only have to do it once. They are great, I've used them for years without a problem. Just shoot for a little more up front and use the bags to keep it level. Fully loaded and ready for adventure not many Jeeps sit the same as they do cruising the mall.
