Spare tire mount

I have a 98 tj, I have a 4"lift with 35s, my tail gate won't handle the weight, are there any bumper spare tire mounts or any other options to carry my spate tire??

I use this reinforcement with a modified factory mount with my 35’s. I modified the factory mount to bring the tire up and in vs using the brackets supplied with the mount.

Take the weight off the tailgate hinges. My tailgate still works perfectly after nearly 8 years with a 35" spare and steel wheel.

Get the Moryde tailgate reinforcement & hinges, then get yourself the Rugged Ridge heavy tire carrier. You will need bump extensions for the tailgate so the tire doesn't rattle. This is the most recommended set up. It is what I have. I didn't want a bumper mounted so I didn't have to open it before opening the tailgate or back glass.
