Spare tire question

So when I got my Jeep the guy before me threw on some 31 mt tires, they are nice tires and I do like them. However he didn’t change over the spare so my spare is of the stock size. Now what I’m wondering is the load capacity of our stock spare bracket/door. If I got the proper matching spare would my stock set up hold it alright? I might throw up photos later but I think you guys can get what I’m saying! Thanks

31s should be fine on the stock carrier. You may need to adjust the rubber stoppers. You want to make sure they are making contact.

Sounds good, I figured it would work. Just didn’t want to open my back one day and watch the door snap off or something. My little door retainer thing already broke off. Found that out when I went to college and went to get my back pack and the door just kept going lol hit my tail light [emoji38]
