I'm very confused about the spark plug wiring order on the Jeep distributor cap.

Looking at the FSM, this should be my order:

Mine is this:

I'm confused because the FSM shows the screws in different places relative to the block and the different posts relative to the screws.

I'm chasing down a misfire, just changed the wires (still missing, of course), realized the order was different. I tried to organize it relative to the screws and the Jeep wouldn't start.

Is there a reason why it doesn't match the FSM, or am I just reading this wrong?

Yours are in the correct order but someone probably put the distributor in a tooth or 2 off. As long as there is enough leeway to get correct ignition timing it shouldn't be a problem. Or will it, @Jerry Bransford ?

edit: Just looked at a video, it looks like the distributor was not put in right and the wires were shifted to make it run, not sure how accurate ignition timing can be when you do that. Waiting to hear more on this.

I'm really not sure what's going on with it. I'm chasing a misfire, not sure how long it's been going on because I didn't know what the sound was (it's very mild). I've found this oddity as well as the fuel injector one and two being backwards per the FSM color coding.
