So since I bought the tj I didn’t have speedometer the gauge is just dead and this week am repairing it so I go under the car and unplug de connector and cleen it when I put back i lose the 0500 code( no contact to Speedo) but still my gauge doesn’t want to move. Btw all other gauge work. So I go back under and take the gear out and turn it by hand and the gauge come to live so I put it back in and the gauge still don’t work. Any suggestions or tip would be lovely!

Are the teeth on your speedo gears good (including the drive gear down in the hole)?

Is your speedo gear housing in the correct position for the number of teeth on your gear?

Am new to this just to be sure the gear number is the one the gear inside. Mine was righten 34. Also to answer cmdb I in-fact didn’t really deal the gears lock whit the output gear inside it kinda à just when in whit-out any real resistance

When I changed my gear, it didnt really feel like anything when I pit it back in either.
