No, it's not a CPU programmer. It's just a device that intercepts the pulses from the speedometer sender and modifies them so the speedometer reads the correct speed. I've tried CPU programmers that claim to make the speedometer read correctly, but I could never get them to work.

well, shoot! I've read about plenty CPU programmers and find that none really work on 05/06 Rubi's......such is that! Too bad Jeep can just email us updates and we upload them! Thanks very much for your time and input! Happy Thanksgiving to all! :)
