Spring recommendations for a 2-2.5" lift?

Hi JMT and jazngab and thank you for your response. How are the OME on the highway? I read that the rear shocks are hard to install because they are too close to the gas tank or something of that nature, did you find that to be true JMT? I live in Westampton jazngab which is in Burlington Township, NJ.

Ok you’re not too far. I’m in horsham pa. Prob 45 min away. If you ever need a hand I’m willing to help. I’ve done a handful of things to the tj already.

I’m actually waiting on a set of OME springs to replace my budget boost lift. Prob will do it when I do regear and axle swap. The thing with replacing rear shocks is removing the old ones as you’re more than likely gonna break one, two, three, or all four bolts which then makes the job frustrating as hell. Prob the hardest more frustrating job I’ve done so far in the tj. Fronts were a b*tch too.

I’ve never broke one of those bolts, but I think this is a function of salt or other rust caused issues

Yeah I was concerned about mine but they backed right out. I did make sure to anti-seize them though when the went back in.

Ran the Skyjacker Hydros with mine for a while. Initially they were a bit stiff and by the time I had the JKU shocks cleaned up and painted and ready to go, they actually had a really nice ride. I'm debating on putting them back on or buying Fox or the adjustable Ranchos

Broke 1 bolt on each side. Luckily, I had the body up on blocks for a while while I painted and installed my body lift. They were still a pain....

2” OME (2933 and 2942 or 2941 if you wanted the Jeep to sit a little more level)
Rancho 5000x shocks (55239 and 55241)
Rear trackbar relocation bracket
Adjustable front trackbar

Should net you 2.5”, which is good for these Rancho shocks which run a little long

Mine has that setup, plus a body lift, so I’m running 33’s, but it looked great on 31’svwith that setup.

Which OME springs, front and rear, will allow it to not have any front rake (level)? Thanks
