Starting over: A lightweight Rock Crawling Daily Driver

Decided to refinish my tailgate skin with scotch brite and wd40, it’s nowhere near perfect but I figure the more I do it, the better I’ll get.

Is this a normal amount of movement for a tie rod end?

Still fighting this darn Deathwobble and I’m learning I don’t know as much as I thought I did.

Progress is being made slowly, the bumper is for the most part on just need to add the corners, looking at the steering box skid, does it need to be bolted onto the bumper before I install it, because I don’t think I can access to nuts with it on, and secondly, how do you get to the lower bolt into the powersteering box mount? I see the bolt hole I’m supposed to use but not spot to get the nut in it?

Going to advanced after church to pick up a moog trackbar, one step at a time.

Got to play in the rocks a little bit last week, have open diffs is finally presenting a problem so that’s getting bumped up on priority, Boise gets some snow but it’s only a few months of the year so I’m highly considering a front auto locker for now, I’m currently talking to someone about buying his axles when he swaps them out, the axles are a hp 30 with an lsd and a Dana 44 with an arb locker, chromoly shafts in the front and rear, he wants 1500 for the set, but earliest that is going to be winter before he swaps in wontons.

I drove my TJ across Snoqualmie Pass for 3 years with a lunchbox locker in the front & a Detroit in the rear. And before that I had a Samurai with lunchbox lockers in both axles and drove it in the snow too... IT's not as bad as many claim it to be.

As for the Jeep edition 8274 I took some time to sand and polish the housing, it’s looking really good but it’s going on the back burner because the xd9000i still works fine and I have other things to prioritize.

I'd love to find one of the Jeep edition 8274's.
