I have a 2006 manual six cylinder and it is my daily driver which has been out of commission for two months now. My ASD fuse keeps blowing and I don't know why I have tried to find a short ground with no avail or maybe I just don't see it. But I was wondering if someone could tell me what circuits go to the ASD fuse and if someone could either explain or show a diagram of exactly what happens as far as where the power goes and what is activated and not activated when you turn the ignition switch. For example showing the path of of power from the ignition switch to the starter relay and then to the starter fuse and then down to the starter or however it is supposed to go. any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated I borrowed a power probe from a friend of mine so I can you use that if anyone has suggestions for it

Well I think I have it narrowed down to the red and yellow wire from the ASD fuse is shorting out somewhere. When I look at the schematic it shows the red and yellow wire turning into a solid red wire but I don't know where that change takes place. Does anyone know if that is in the ignition switch with the red and yellow going in and maybe a red coming out or vice versa? When the key is off I'm still reading voltage on the ASD fuse of around 3.5 volts and then when I put the key in the on position it only reads about 8.7 instead of 12

With the ASD relay out - fuse 9 (PDC) should be hot (12v to ground) on both sides, no key needed.

Have you tried swapping the relay?

Yes, I've tried swapping relays, but still nothing. Per your suggestion, I removed the ASD relay and used my multimeter and got a reading of 12.5 on one side, and only about 3.5 on the other side. Now with that being said, any thoughts on where I should go from here?
