Steel Horse 2-piece Hard Top for sale. — General Condition is fair. Located in Savannah, GA. Price $200 obo. Just bought a new trektop nx and need to reclaim the carport so my daughter can use it as her jungle gym.
All glass is crack free (glass is hard to find for this top), top is crack free and structurally sound, rear glass struts work, various scratches/wear and tear throughout, seals along side windows don't sit flush, but don't leak, paint has visibly greyed over the years (black) and it definitely needs a good cleaning. The main rear piece of the 2-piece top sits and seals well. I believe I have most of the hardware (2-bolts on each side into frame and Targa connectors) and the back glass locks (have key).
The bad (IMO): The actual Targa top has never sat great/totally flush on the top since I have owned it and leaks in heavy rain at the rear corners behind the doors. It's also never felt that tight where it connects behind the doors but the mid and front connectors clamp down tight so I've never been worried about it flying off or anything. Of note, I never replaced the seals/weather stripping so they are of an unknown age. I often find water under my floor mats when its sitting, but have never got wet while driving. The actual Targa top is fairly heavy but I typically removed it and reinstalled solo. Priced accordingly, but do your research on Steel Horse hard tops. Trying to be as transparent as possible with details but feel free to ask questions and post if you're interested.
