Steering column moves a bit

Ok so lately i've noticed that my steering wheel/column moves up and down a bit. I have one that tilts and can be moved but I don't recall it having
this "play" or "slop" in it. Before I tear into it i'd like to know if anyone else had this issue? If I grab the steering wheel while driving or just sitting there
it moves bit up and down.

There are 2 bolts that clamp the column to the dash frame, they are directly behind the plastic (1) and metal (2) panel located directly under the column. Check to see if they are loose,
