Recently purchased for my young daughter and she's already a little freaked out by the steering of the Jeep (something I noticed when I drove it initially, ie. it's hard to keep it in a straight line, especially when going down the freeway). Maybe I'm just used to driving a F150, but in an effort to make her first car experience a bit more pleasurable, am thinking installing or upgrading the steering stabilizer to eliminate or at least slow down the "Skitty Kitty" steering. Thoughts ? Suggestions ? Would this be the first route to take ? Would it even help ?

A steering stabilizer won’t fix that.

Does it have the stock wheels and tires? When was the last time it was aligned?

More importantly, if it’s a 2018, why are you even bothering trying to attempt to solve this yourself? It should still be under warranty, and if so, this should fall on the dealership to fix it if a problem really does exist.

What are the current air pressures on all four corners?

Did you get a printout of your current alignment specs?

The JL utilizes electro/hydro power steering. It will steer differently than a TJ/LJ and even the JK/JKU.
