Hello Everyone!

First post on here but I've gathered a huge wealth of knowledge from being a guest for the past few years. I'd like to say that this forum has been a massive help for me with the advice of the members here. I've solved a lot of issues with my jeep as well as made lot of modifications to my jeep based on what forum members had posted.

Anyways, my issue is that I'll be adding the THOR cowl intake system to get my intake further from the front of the Jeep for approaches into mud and water but I'm seriously concerned about the CAI style filters ability to actually filter out dirt and dust. My plan is to mock up the THOR tube to lead into the stock airbox to filter the dirt further as well as the extra waterproofing the stock airbox has. Does anyone think that both filters will be too restrictive on airflow?

I know the stock air intake flows more air than is needed but I'm curious if the CAI in addition to the stock unit will drop it below the required levels for the 4.0L.

Thanks,
