Obviously TJ’s can’t really be completely stock. People replace tires, stereos, etc.

I really like stock looking Tj’s. They’re more slim/gentle looking. I feel that people add a bunch of shit and be all manly man and that’s cool I guess. I find that with peoples build threads I like the original more compared to the after version😂

Show off your stock-ish TJ’s! Maybe tell me about where the line is for aesthetic add ons is for you...

I could not agree more, I like the clean stock jeeps! Here's mine, she's a 2005 LJR completely bone stock (except for tire size) with only 47k miles.

@Zedd , This is the only jeep I've ever owned, but I did test drive several before I bought this one. I can say, for me, that the LJ has a bit more leg room than than the TJ. I'm 6'3" and my knees would touch the dash on the TJ'S, but not on my LJ.
The back behind the seat has a lot more room for sure.

Whilst I prefer modified Jeeps, I kind of understand the appeal of a stock one. I'm sort of in the middle even, I prefer something that could have rolled off the factory line if Jeep hypothetically sold a model above the rubicon. For me that means not too extreme but also period correct for the late 90's/early 2000's.

You’re a great example because we had a conversation about your bumper being incredibly sexy and awesome. What you did to the bumper could easily look like a stock item for a version of a TJ

Practically bone stock 2006 Golden Eagle TJ...debadged (took the Golden Eagle stickers off) Still has a lot of detailing to do to make it..more right. bought it a few years ago with 13k miles on it. The TJ has 14,xxx miles on it to this day.

Door sills need the scuffed clear guards replaced. The silver trim rings around the headlights need to be replaced. Driver side mud guard needs to be replaced. Wanting to re-wrap the pleather sun visors in real leather. Just a few little projects and some TLC.

I'd have to agree with @Hammer24 for overall aesthetics. A small to moderate lift 2-4" and a little bit larger tires (which I think is what the LJ should have come with stock, due to the extra length to make it look right) are the sweet spot for me, with overall stock appearance. Same goes for CJs, maybe even more so. Under the hood and drivetrain is different though. But, I dont have any of those sorts of things, other than 2" OME springs and 32s. I'm also not that creative. Neither am I a rock crawler, but I think most would respect the extra lengths required for that.

Love the Alcoas. They look great with that body color with the painted flares.

I like them too. Despite there being no badges, it's a Rocky Mountain Edition which means that the flares are custom to that edition. I think the paint is 'Bright Silver'?
