Stock Radio/CD player

So raido works fine, the CD will play for about 15 minutes then it stops, I bump it with my palm on the face plate and it starts playing again.
Any Ideas?
Don't want to buy an after market to replace it.

Possibly a loose connection. That or it is dying a slow death. There are places that refurbish factory radios. Google should be able to point the way.

You can have my stock CD player from an 05 model if you want it. Worked fine as far as I know. Has 46K on it! LOL

For the curious: We traded the Radio/CD player for a Warn Differential Skid Plate for JMT's rear Dana 35.
