Should you straight pipe a 2001 6cyl 4.0L tj? How would it sound ?

My Jeep doesn’t have the cats and has a flow master exhaust. It sounds great but is pretty loud. I want to go to something more quiet.

I was out on the trail recently with another TJ that had the muffler removed and just a turn-down after the last cat.

It sounded great. Low rumble at idle and a nice growl on obstacles.

No idea what it sounds like on the highway, but I guess it would be relatively easy to find out.
