Trying to pull out battery tray to prime/ paint. First 2 bolts came out easy. Got an impact wrench to loosen the other 2 (thanks for the suggestion!) BUT the bottom part of the clips have broken off so there's nothing to grab and they're just spinning. Going to get a longer vice grip but any magical suggestions short of drilling those two bolts out?

Carefully apply localized heat and it should break the bond. After heating it good, you'll probably find that holding the clip with just enough force to keep the clip from spinning (not enough to damage threads) will allow you to remove the bolts.

Can you push up on them from underneath?

That is why I like AGMs.

Unfortunately that didn't work, also tried pulling/prying from top. Just picked up a very long pair of 90° needle nose pliers we'll see how that goes 😭.
Also, I know what AGM stands for, but why would that make a difference? Total newbie here.

Ended up using the heat to loosen it and drilled a tiny hole to hold it in place with the bit. That was a LOT of effort for 2 bolts so next time it's heat first. Thanks!

That's great!
I'd use a little anti-seize on the threads when you put it back together.
