My passenger princess (wife) keeps asking for a sun visor with a mirror so she can check her flyaway hair when the top and doors are off. I did a quick search of the usual places, Amazon, Ebay, Quadratech but haven't found any.

Has anyone put a sun visor with a mirror in the TJ? or am I stuck buying a clip-on type? Our visors are so narrow, I'm not sure a clip-on type would work.

Anyone have pictures/information about either a replacement or a clip-on?

I have a clip on. During the summer months I have the top off and it gets really dirty because it doesn’t have a cover like the ones built into the visor.

EDIT: a nice handheld lit compact may be a good option for your princess. I also have round motorcycle mirrors mounted on my Grabars that can be used.

Do what @Zorba does and have her use her cell phone as a mirror

I also have a clip on that led to my 15yo son breaking the sun visor. So the clip on lives in the passenger door pocket now.

Have you noticed how you can use something for like 30 years and never hurt it- and your kid will destroy it in about five minutes.

These are my grandchildren this morning - I think my wife came up with this from some website on how to destroy your house

Exactly. I bought that TJ as a temporary commuter. It goes to him when he gets his license. He broke that visor within the first week or two. I told him that visor was fine for the first 20 years until he grabbed it with his gorilla hands.

Love the slide. I'm sure my 3 boys would've loved that.

It's a hard lesson to learn sometimes that you operate equipment the way it wants to be used, not how you want to use it.

Unless you have the money to rebuild or modify.
