Sunday (1/30/22) trip to Anza Borrego
Meet in either Temecula Area around 8 am or closer to Anza Borrego around 9 am.
Looking to plan a day trip to somewhere in Anza Borrego State Park.
I've never been to this area of the desert. Many trips to Ocotillo Wells and Truck Haven.
I'm not sure how many trails can be completed in a day, but here is a list of the places that interest me:
- Pinyon Mountain Trail - Squeeze and Heart Attack Hill - this is also a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail
- Wind Caves
- Mud Caves (these seem to be far south and I'm not sure how to loop back to them)
- Sandstone Canyon (seems to connect to Pinyon)

If anyone has been there and has a trail list that would be nice.
At this point, it is me (LJ) and my brother (JKU). They are checking with a couple more people this week.
